Win against Big Stone-Ortonville
The MBA Storm Squirts played a rare Thursday
night game at the Benson Civic Center against Big Stone-Ortonville.
The MBA Squirts would come out on top by a score of 13-3.
Jordan Staples will get things started period
one scoring off the pass from Blake Crandall. Picking up goals
unassisted will be Staples followed by Tanner Mikkelson, Mac Beyer
and Tanner Picht. Brody
Gimberlin will also find the net with a minute left in the period,
assisted by Darion Helberg.
Mac Beyer will start the second period scoring
unassisted at 12:22. Big Stone- Ortonville will get on the board
sneaking one past goalie Austin Crow at 8:15. The goal was scored
unassisted by Ben Anderson. The Storm will have another flurry
of points starting with Jacob Aarhus finding the net, assisted
by Tanner Gimberlin. B. Gimberlin will get a nice pass from Darion
Helberg and score at 5:54 of the second. J. Aarhus will pick up
his second of the game, assisted by Corey Storck.
Bryce Jergensen will start the third period scoring,
assisted by Jordan Staples. Brody Gimberlin completes his hat trick
at 8:06 of the period, unassisted. Big Stone-Ortonville comes back
with one of their own with Jordan Jensen finding the net. Tanner
Gimberlin of the Storm will also find the net for the last goal
of the game at 6:20, unassisted. The Storm will be called for to
many players on the ice as well as interference in the third period
which allows Big Stone-Ortonville to find the net one more time,
with Keane Turner scoring, assisted by Seth Mueller. In the net
for the Storm was Austin Crow.

Bacon coach the Storm.
