On Sunday the Lee Community Center hosted a game between the Storm Squirts and the B.W Blades White team. The Storm skated to a 12-3 victory. Again, they will unselfishly pass the puck around for scoring opportunities. Getting the scoring started will be Mac Beyer from a pass off the stick of Jordan Staples at 10:32. Ten seconds later, Tanner Picht will score, assisted by Morgan Staton. Picht will pick up one more in the period unassisted.
Starting the next period 3-0 the Storm will find the net five more times in the second period. Staton will send one into the net at 13:57 assisted by Tanner Mikkelson. Bryce Jergenson and Jacob Aarhus will do a nice job of digging the puck out from along the boards to help their teammates. Mac Beyer will pick up his second goal at 9:42 with help from the passing efforts of Corbin Heder and T. Picht. Beyer will get another unassisted at 9:22. Taner Gimberlin will tip the next two in, assisted by Darion Helberg and T. Picht.
In the third period, M. Beyer will score off the pass from Chad Schwarz and get another unassisted beating the defense off of the face-off. C. Schwarz will get a rebound off the shot on goal by D. Helberg at 7:11 of the period. Jordan Staples will get the last goal of the period assisted by T. Mikkelson. The Storm, with its aggressive play, will dominate the game with Austin Crow in the net making eleven saves in the game.
