Morris-Benson Area Storm Hockey

Dear Association Members,

We hope you are enjoying a great season of hockey this year.  It is hard to believe that the end of the regular season games is drawing near.  This brings us to the intent of this letter.

Benson Hockey Association has two upcoming events that we can use assistance with. 

Mite Fest
On Saturday, February 11 will are hosting the Mite Fest.  It is a joy to see those young skaters take the ice and show family and friends what they have learned since the beginning of the season.  A sign up sheet is posted outside the concession stand.  Please consider helping.  We are in need of concession workers and clock/announcers for the games scheduled.

District 15 Bantam B Tournament
We will be hosting the Bantam B District 15 Tournament on February 17^th, 18^th and 19^th.   There will be 8 teams participating in the tournament that weekend.  Games are scheduled to begin the afternoon of Friday, February 17^th and ending on Sunday afternoon.  We need concession workers, penalty box staff, clock/announcer, and scorebook staff for the games scheduled.  You may contact Nicole Hadfield, Tournament Coordinator at 843-4367 to sign up for a work shift until Friday February 10^th.  Nicole will post the sign up sheet on Saturday, February 11^th at the rink by the concession stand for you to sign up for a work shift that has not been filled.

Tournaments are another means of our fundraising events which allows us to keep our costs low.  We need our association members to support the work shifts to cover this tournament.  We see this tournament as a great opportunity to showcase our community and hockey program.  In order to make this happen, we need your help.

If you need work hours, this is a great opportunity to fulfill those requirements.  Whether you need hours or not; we need to cover the work shifts to make this successful.  We understand there are other members that will be out of town at their own District 15 Tournament and we wish you luck. 

We will have a work-night on Wednesday, February 15^th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. to get the rink, lobby area, locker rooms and restrooms in order for this event.  We will need members to help with this as well.
