Capital Improvement Drive

Lee Community Center Capital Improvement Drive

We started a Capital Improvement Drive for the Lee Community Center in June 2019.

The Lee Community Center is currently facing the following major
improvements estimating nearly $250,000:
• Purchasing and Installing a Dehumidification System: This is needed to reduce the humidity in the air which will improve air quality and minimize structural decay. Stevens County has approved roof repair/door replacement contingent on this system being installed.
Estimated Cost: $95,000 (COMPLETE)
• Replacement/Reskinning of the Boards: The current boards were installed in 1994 and were from Mariucci Area. They have seen years of use which has caused significant wear on the boards.
Estimated Cost: $50,000 (COMPLETE)
• Government Mandated Replacement of the Cooling System: Environmental laws are now requiring a more environmentally friendly
refrigerant system to be in place.
Estimated Cost: $100,000

Thank you in advance for your consideration. All donations are tax deductable as Morris Hockey Association is a 501 (c)(3).
